1. Beta and Development Stage

Lodgey is a beta product and a work in progress. Features may be experimental, incomplete, or changed without notice. The service may contain bugs, experience downtime, and produce incorrect or incomplete outputs.

2. No Financial, Tax, Legal, or Credit Advice

Content, reports, calculations, projections, and AI suggestions are general information only and are not personal financial product advice, tax advice, legal advice, or lending advice. You are responsible for obtaining advice from qualified professionals before making decisions.

3. Account and Data Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your account credentials and activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep backups of important records.
• You must not use the service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activities.

4. Third-Party Services

Certain features rely on third-party services (for example, payments, hosting, authentication, and bank data providers). We are not responsible for third-party outages, data delays, or policy changes.

5. Fees and Subscriptions

Paid features may be offered by subscription. Pricing, plan features, and billing terms may change. If you continue using paid features after a change takes effect, you accept the updated pricing and terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The platform, software, branding, and content are owned by Lodgey or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also pause or disable accounts to address security, legal, or operational risks.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lodgey and its founder are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or loss-of-profit damages, or for data loss, incorrect outputs, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) AUD $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lodgey and its founder from claims, losses, liabilities, and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising from your misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and, where applicable, the Commonwealth of Australia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms, particularly during beta. Continued use of Lodgey after updated Terms are published means you accept the revised Terms.
